A SEAT AT THE TABLE
(AND A FEW BEERS)
WITH TWO LEGENDARY ICONS

RODENBACH is a 200 year old Belgian brewery (and a national treasure) that produces some of the finest beers in the world.

They are the most awarded brewery in the world and are highly respected by beer trade and industry professionals.

For average consumers, RODENBACH is a bit of an unknown entity, even though they invented the sour beer category in 1821.

SHOWCASING RODENBACH’S INFLUENCE ON AMERICAN CRAFT BREWERIES

It began months before the 2018 craft brewery’s conference in Nashville, TN.  Bolide Communications organized a sold-out event featuring RODENBACH’s Brew Master (Rudi Ghequire) and other celebrated sour beer brewers including Allagash (Jason Perkins), Yazoo (Brandon Jones) and Dogfish Head (Bill Marchi).

Hosted by New York’s first female ciccerone (Anne Becerra), it was the must-attend event at CBC.

FIRST-EVER COLLABORATION (200 YEARS)

In its 200 year history, RODENBACH had never before done a collaboration beer, so it was important to find the right partner.

An independently owned craft brewery, and the producer of America’s favorite sour beer (Sea Quench Ale), DOGFISH HEAD was the perfect fit.

In December 2018, Bolide Communications accompanied Swinkels Family Brewers executives and brewmaster Rudi to Delaware.

Over the course of 2 days, the two sour beer pioneers (Rudi and Sam Calagione) began blending and developing a new recipe which would become Vibrant P’Ocean.

CBC & PRODUCT LAUNCH

Bolide Communications secured Rudi and Sam as keynote speakers at the annual Craft Brewer’s Conference in Denver, CO.  Moderated by renowned beer journalist John Holl.

In February 2020, Rudi & Sam kicked off a 4-city tour to announce the arrival of Vibrant P’ocean.  Starting in Philadelphia, followed by Rochester for a private VIP dinner with Wegmans and onto Chicago & Milwaukee.
